VISION

To provide values based quality education, foster research and innovation and to groom the students to be globally competent.

 

MISSION

•     To groom the students with strong foundations of Electronics and Communication Engineering and to facilitate them to pursue higher education.

•     To educate and prepare the students competent to face the challenges of the industry/society.

•     To inspire the students to carry out research and innovation.

•     To expose the students to behavioural training programs and to develop their overall personality and social consciousness.

 

PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES(PEO)

 

1.      To prepare the students to have successful career in industry and motivate for higher education.

2.      To provide strong foundation in basic science and mathematics necessary to formulate, solve and analyze electronics and communication

          engineering problems

3.      To provide strong foundation in electron devices, electronic circuits, analog and digital electronics, signals and systems and digital signal

          processing concepts.

4.      To provide good knowledge of communication engineering and their applications in wireless communication, cellular and mobile

          communication.

5.      To provide basic knowledge of electromagnetic theory to transmission lines and waveguides and their applications in microwave engineering

6.      To provide an opportunity to work in inter disciplinary groups

7.      To promote student awareness for lifelong learning and inculcate professional ethics

8.      To provide necessary foundation on computational platforms and software applications related to the respective field of engineering

 

PROGRAMME OUTCOMES (POS)

1.      Ability to understand and apply differential equations, integrals, matrix theory, probability theory, Laplace, Fourier And Z transformations for  

         engineering problems

2.      Ability to understand and apply basic science, electronic circuits, electromagnetic theory, communication theory and apply them to electronics

         and communication engineering problems.

3.      Ability to model and analyze electron devices and digital electronics and their application to analog and digital communication.

4.      Ability to understand and analyze electromagnetic theory, transmission lines and waveguides.

5.      Ability to handle the engineering aspects of  integrated circuits fabrication and their applications

6.      Ability to understand and analyze the antennas, transmission lines and microwave devices

7.      Ability to review, prepare and present technological developments

8.      Ability to form a group and develop or solve engineering hardware and problems

9.      To understand and apply computing platform and software for engineering problems

10.    To understand ethical issues environments impact and acquire management skills.
