VISION

  • To Produce creators of technology with the potential of programming and problem solving skills to meet the challenges in the industry, research and to contribute their best for the nation.

 

MISSION

  • To bring out career oriented graduates who are industry ready through innovative practices.
  • To produce competent and quality computer engineers by imparting advanced computer concepts and techniques.
  • To enrich the knowledge of students towards techno-economic and social development of the nation through quality human resource and encouraging entrepreneurship among the young graduates.

 

PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

PEO1: Graduates are prepared to acquire the necessary background in the mathematical, scientific and engineering concepts needed to succeed in industry and in higher education.

PEO2: Graduates are prepared to inculcate with soft skills like communication, team work, leadership qualities, professional and ethical values and an ability to apply the skills to address the social issues.

PEO3: Graduates are provided with conducive academic environment and the lifelong learning needed for a successful professional career as engineers.

 

PROGRAMME OUTCOMES

Engineering Knowledge: An ability to apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

Problem Analysis: An ability to identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.

Design / Development of solutions: An ability to design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

Conduct investigations of complex problems: An ability to use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

Modern tool usage: An ability to create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modelling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.

The engineer and society: An ability to apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice

Environment and sustainability: An ability to understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.

Ethics: An ability to apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.

Individual and team work: An ability to function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.

Communication: An ability to communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.

Project management and finance: An ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the engineering and management principles and apply these to one’s own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage projects and in multidisciplinary environments.

Lifelong learning: An ability to recognize the need for, and have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of technological change.

  • An Ability to design, develop innovative mobile apps and implement software solutions based on requirements of real life problems.
  • An Ability and proficiency on the contemporary skills to manage database / data warehouse.
