Department of Mechanical engineering has inaugurated Yoga and meditation club to educate students and society on the spiritual dimension and how it affects our lives. We conduct Theoretical, practical classes and convey knowledge about the spiritual dimension to help student understand it, advise those who are curious to experience it for themselves, and guide those who have intense desire for spiritual growth and God-realisation towards achieving their goal. One thing is clear; while we may speak different languages and come from different states, our problems and questions about life are similar. While modern science has made great strides in helping us Improve our standard of living, it has lacked in a holistic approach to help people overcome pain in life and gain lasting happiness.
For most of us, our time on Earth is divided between getting an education, getting a job, getting married, having kids, making money, acquiring fame and power. As we work our way through life, few of us stop to ask the question – is this it? Is this the extent of the purpose of life? To this section of society we say, “Not quite”. Each of us are on a spiritual journey with life lessons to learn. For those of us who are conscious of this spiritual journey and want to progress spiritually, yoga and meditation club would like to help by providing you with a road map (for your spiritual journey) so that you can make the best use of every precious moment of your life.
